“The plot was an instant attention grabber and the heroine very memorable and intriguing.”

“I was drawn to this story because of both the artistic theme and also the mystery theme.  I enjoyed reading about Marion Spicer and the events that lead up to her collecting on her inheritance.  I have to say that this was a very unique mystery.  Although as I expected Marion encounters many different situations when she finally uncovers the truth behind her father and what he did.  However, I was really impressed with the journey that Marion took and though on a superficial level she was trying to track done the missing artwork, on a sentimental side, she was really trying to uncover the truth behind her father and form a sort of connection with him, one that they did not share when he was alive.  Aside from this I thought that Marion was a very strong and fierce woman.  She handled herself in many different situations in ways , that to me, are typically assigned to male heroes.  Although I did not "love" Marion I did admire her and found her to be very courageous.  Overall, this was a interesting story a worthwhile read.  I thought that the plot was an instant attention grabber and the heroine very memorable and intriguing.” Book Nerd
