This fall, which in France for the purposes of this news item, runs from the end of August through October, is another rentrée littéraire. That’s the big publishing season over in the Hexagon. This year’s harvest includes a whopping 646 novels, 426 by French authors and 220 translations. Well, that is eight titles fewer than last year. Talk about issues of discoverability. Anyway, as if to remedy the latter, the French couple the book release season with a literary prize season. I just counted 55 literary prize events from September through the end of December.

Not to worry, Le French Book will make this easy for you. We’ve got two books out and for sale in English, along with another one just nearly there. They are all great, and hold the distinction of being our first titles. Don’t miss a single one of them.
